Bet types & in-play
One losing selection sinks the whole slip, which is why the accumulator sits at the centre of this site and why every other bet type is explained against it.
For most bookmakers a treble is the smallest accumulator. Larger full-cover bets stack more selections: Trixie 4 bets, Patent 7, Yankee 11, Lucky 15, Super Yankee (also called Canadian) 26, Heinz 57, Goliath 247. Bet builders and cash out come next, with ante-post, Asian handicap and in-play streaming after them.
Multiplying the unit stake by the number of bets gives the total stake, so the arithmetic comes before any opinion. In-play betting is available from Great Britain’s bookmakers, while cash out remains a feature each operator chooses to provide, not a statutory right.
